but on a more serious and alarming note....There's a bad virus going around and its pretty contageous. i think i first contracted this when i learned how to walk or maybe i was born with this ailment called the travel bug.
Travel Bug is defined in the Webster Dictionary as:
(adj): the overwhelming/uncontrollable urge to travel regardless of financial or social cirumstances.
Okay..so maybe that's not the the Webster definition...i was just too lazy to google and share, but im sure its pretty accurate. im gonna have to blame this problem on the ease of transport in the 21st centurey or maybe my nomadic routes but i just wanna i wanna i wannna (spice girls are constantly on my mind, i am seeking help for it).
That was a long intro, but i just wanted to share some spot i wanna check out beside the usual tourist hot spots,. Places like Paris, Milan, NewYork, LA get too much attention-you almost forget there's other cities on this earth. i wanted to explore the hidden gems of this planet.......but i just changed my mind.
Here's my to 5 list of places i definetly don't wanna visit....STAY AWAY FROM THESE PLACES!!! i havent been there either but im just sayin...why would anyone wanna go? if you have any objections or additions to this list-feel free.

DUBLIN-Something about gently rolling hills, unlimited pubs, friendly pub goers....most of them being red heads...does not appeal to me. So maybe these are the stereotypical things about Dublin that i hear about, maybe there's something more beautiful out there worth exploring, perhaps there's an enchanted land-yet to be discovered, maybe there's abundant beauty that we are unable to behold with the naked eye.....OR NOT
On top of all that, there's a serious social movement against racism, because the nationals can't help but beat on immigrants in public....*i didn't just make that up* look it up...they hate diversity. So not only are they a homogeneous population of redheads, they also plan to stay that way for the next century.....yum

It's been a while...

So...i'm finally back..2 years and 5 months later for an update on the old blog. I'm just having one of those days where I feel like ranting about the inns and outs of everyday life.
Let's see 2.5 years later, im still in the same place metaphorically and literally. I write to the world from the same apartment in the same building in the same city in the abyss of the same daaamn country.. i mean hello Canada!
I made some progress and some changes but i feel like im going in circles...really small ones..Enough about that- time to vent about ridiculous shit that for some odd reason just ruins my mood or when im chatting with friends I get a light bulb moment about something so common..anyway here goes:
1. Blond Highights: seriously they're not for everyone, matter of fact they are not for anyone living in 2008. I'd like to put on a smile when you're fresh out of the salon and ask you 'girl ..who does you hair?' but instead i chose to avoid eye contact because I will infact ask you ..."Who the hell is performing this haenous procedure and why haven't they had their license to do hair evoked and more importantly when can we burn them at the stake?"
2. Clothing trends: I don't care if you're a season behind, if you're with the trends, and even if you're ahead of the trends...ur still an effin loser. You have no originality in your thoughts or actions. I have to say i particularly despise the folks that are ahead of the trends. They read fashion magazines and articles to find out whats gonna be hot for Autmn 2010, they rock it, and then for some bizarre reason they annouce that they were the orginators of this look. This category of humans (dare i even call these multicellular organisms human) are extremely uncreative and they have to audacity to blame other for following THEIR look...the only difference between You and the next serial mall shopper is that you spent an extra 10 bones on a GQ/Vogue Magazine and ur extremly lame.
3. Random convo with a friend: So me and a friend are sitting outside my precious building only to spot a rabbit outside. Then Friend X exclaims...why on earth does playboy use bunnies. Then we both had a light bulb moment of recognizing the correlation between the bunnies-->fertility-->women...holla! so whatever, we're friggin slow and everyone including Hugh already knows this...or we're onto cracking some age old code...either way, I feel a degree smarter, like I solved a mystery or something..and no one can take that away from us.
5. Favorite Genre of Music: When ppl ask me I usually have a straight response of..."i like a little bit of everything, these days I can get down to Reggae tunes and I'm sorta stuck in the 90's, any 90's rap song, i can sing the lyrics backwards with my eyes closed while hopping on one foot"....but the truth of the matter is, i do infact have a favorite Genre that I'd like to call Morbid Music. For some reason, I really love songs that have something to do with someone dying and the song writer missing them. Go figure, if its a fallin solider...love it. Pouring out some liquour...excellent. Missin' you ma nigga...music to my ears. I dont know what that says about me..but i'm about to throw down the baddest play list of all the songs that I love and are in remembrance of someone who was just soo fantabulous and no one heard about them till they died (look out for the dj mix tape to drop in hot summer 09). And for some reason country music moves me...dont ask why..that I dont even have a logical explanation for, its just retarded.
I think that's enough rant for one day!
That was fun. I might or might not come back within the next year.
Till the next time my fingers are itching to do some damage on this place we call the world wide web..but i like to call...i dunno...*wish i had something profound to call it that expressed its vastness and emptiness all in the same phrase* ..but for now the world wide web will do.

I'm in the middle of exams, i can't study...i've been starring at books and can't understand anything.....i've been drawing blanks for the last semester. its so weird...how the end of the road is the hardest to get through. Im so close to call it quits on this whole school thing.
I've been doing a lot of reflecting on my last 4 years at school..and its so strange how i just kept pushing through when my screwups were just simply countless. Besides the usual slacking off and missing plenty of classes...i'm notorious for forgetting about important dates and deadlines. I have not gone through one semester without completely forgetting about a due date...not because i was just lazy..but because i dont' care to remember things that are highlited IMPORTANT....in my mind it registers as 'forget about it!'. The royal mixups come from my favorite...studying for exams super hard and finding out too late-they're open book. I happend 3 times!! So bizarre how i maintain mediocre grades *lately just plain bad grades* and not get kicked out of school. Usually stuff doesn't bother me....but to think that i've invested a little over 17 years in an investment porfolio thats pretty much a 100% academic and i still don't understand the simple concept of making it to a scheduled quiz.
I'm gonna end my rant today with ...School truley sucks! for now... Everything else is pretty dandy-*alhamdulillah* Can't wait till Wednesday at 10pm, i'll be so done. Unsure of how to celebrate!
Oh yah..its Thursday and i didn't end up going to dogdge ball...shoulda..it woulda taking some of the frustrations away...watever...i'm out for now!
I swear ill be in a better mood when i come back.

Looking for Mr. Right...

I just used that neat-o title to suck the reader in. Mission accomplished! Actually i'm not a complete liar, i'm in search of something, but its not Mr. Right. I've actually been on a 3 year extensive search for a hobby. Living in a small town sorta limits spontaneous goodtimes from occuring; however, repetitive attempts at 'fun' are rampant. So...i figured i should pick up on a hobby...something like painting, yogalates (just cause pure yoga is kinda strange and very iffy..so mixing it up with pilates will hopefuly take away the nonesense-lets get fit-spriritual energy), fatal martial arts (is there such thing?..watever..u get it...like killing someone by pressing on their forehead or something), blogging, learning a new language (something strange that no one would suspect me to know like Pashtu, Belorussian, Nepalese, Yoruba, Afrikaans, etc. I'd work for the government as an official eves-dropper..i think the name is spy, or i'd casually mention my capabilities at the social event of the year and then get scooped up to live as a queen in a foreign country and save them from eternal damnation cause no one else could communicate with them).
I've sorta slowed down on my rigourous search for a hobby....until i came across this: Dodge Ball-Women's Recreational League. Every Thursday 6-10. $21. That spoke volumes to me...goodtimes, goodtiming, descent price....overall fun. Although the thought of a bunch of soccer mom's who were x-college athletes is sorta scary..i think its worth a try. I might go with a friend to lessen the probability of getting my a** kicked by some 48 year old woman thats so stressed out at her dead end job and her only outlet is dodgeball cause it reminds her of the good ol' times living in a trailer and attending the local highschool in small town hicks-ville.
I might go..i might not...we'll see..the class starts April 20th. I might have something important to do...like sleep.....i think i'll get up and do that right now actually.

Yes, I am bored, but some of the greatest thoughts and advancements came about because of boredom. Anyway they were both pretty bored: one of them was hangin out under an apple tree and the other guy was flying a kite in the middle of the night. A Kite? he was seriously bored.
